The Fringe Cut

22 Sep

They say that there is only 2 weeks between a good and a bad hair cut…….

In March this year, I decided to go for a fringe, a blunt, poker-straight fringe despite my lovely parents telling me that I looked like a 12 year old.   And I’ve now discovered that there are very few hairdressers who can successfully pull off a blunt fringe.  I didn’t think it would be that hard??

My regular hairdresser is fantastic and very crazy, who cuts my hair from home.  This involves her equally crazy kids and crazy dogs  and occassinally her husband who knows everything about everything and will tell you, so it’s never a quick trip but I do come out with an excellent cut.  This being the case, it’s just quicker to go somewhere local where I can be in and out for a fringe trim.  I’ve tried not so far and not so wide in my local area and can’t find someone who will give me a blunt fringe.  On Saturday I thought I found the perfect fringe cutterer…. I walked out happy as, but when I washed it and straightened it, I realised that she had thinned it out and now have fuzzy fly away bits.

Oh, I know I sound like I’m being a princess and having taken a quick photo of my fringe to post, I’ve realised that it’s not as bad as what I thought it was……

Here’s the pic.
